Another fantastic Stitch Gathering took place on Sunday 6 October at Napier University in Edinburgh, and I was so lucky to be part of it! Thanks to the amazing Jo Avery of MyBearPaw who arranges this wonderful event every year.
This was my second year at teaching a workshop on the day and it was so much fun. If you haven't been before you should check it out, it is an amazing day of sharing creations, learning new skills and really sharing positive vibes with each other. I have met so many lovely people through these events and they often lead to friendship via Instagram.
Not only did I manage to spend the morning workshop with Jenni Smith Sews learning to make a Manx Log Cabin block, sitting beside the lovely Lucy from Charmaboutyou I also received a jam packed goody bag with beautiful fabrics, threads, notions and some Liberty fabric. Below is a snapshot of what was inside the bag- how wonderful eh? I cannot wait to start stitching. Thank you to the very generous sponsors for all the treats, Aurifil, Sewmotion, Cakestand Quilts, Immediate Media, Michael Miller, Duck Egg Threads, Riley Blake, Free Spirit Fabrics, Blend Fabrics, Lewis & Irene, Dashwood Studio, DMC. What a day, it was wonderful to see all the familiar faces and meet new people too. See you all again next year! Lx
