Hi everyone, Happy New Year! What a year 2018 was for me! It was a lot of hard work but also amazing things happened. I was busy with workshops locally in Glasgow as well as travelling further a field to places like Dundee and Edinburgh. I took part in the Stitch Gathering in October held at Napier University where I met loads of lovely quilters and fabric lovers! It was such a wonderful experience and met some really talented people. I got to teach my embroidered bouquet workshop and it was a lot of fun. A few days later I headed to Canada with my family for ten days of relaxation with the relatives. I even managed to visit some cool fabric stores whilst I was there, I just couldn't resist! As if that wasn't enough I managed to make a trip to the US to see my own fabric in store at Hobby Lobby, it was a very special day for sure.
Here I am hugging my fabric! Such an amazing feeling to see it in store, I had to buy some of course.
In December I was asked to go to the DCA in Dundee to take part in their Christmas Crafternoon Sundays. I taught a workshop on how to create your own embroidered christmas decorations. It was a lot of fun and lovely to see the city of Dundee, I am looking forward to going back to spend more time there and visit the V&A.
It is already 6 January and I have 5 workshops booked for the start of this year already. I am looking forward to going to new places such as Bo'ness and Make in Kirkintilloch and also regular locations such as Remnant Kings Argyle Street, Edinburgh and Strathaven.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and rest and ready to get creative in 2019, I know I am! If you would like to join me at any of my workshops please contact me via email or on Instagram.
